Warm summer days offer you the perfect chance to unwind. After your hearty family style farm breakfast, the kids will probably disappear to the barn. You relax. Eventually, pull the kids away from the animals and off to Silverwood Theme Park/Boulder Beach Waterpark you go for a day of non-stop fun. Should you feel a nap coming on, it’s a close drive to come back to relax again! Gather the family, sit by the glowing chimnea,  roast marshmallows and gobble s’mores. Then good night, sleep tight. You will awaken rested and rejuvenated ready to explore North Idaho!

COME IN AUTUMN… Crisp Nights. Colorful Days.
Oh how we love fall!  A great time for a north Idaho farmstay.  Gather golden leaves. Hike, bike or run up Cedar Mountain. Start your morning on our front porch with a cup of your favorite steaming beverage and a light jacket.  You won’t need your coat for long as the autumn sun warms you up. Silverwood opens weekends for daytime visitors and adds their popular “Scareywood” event on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights during October. Now that’s agritourism!

COME IN WINTER… Get Cozy. Get Snowzy.
Ski, snowshoe, or cuddle up for a long winter’s nap. Hide away from the stresses of life at Cedar Mountain Farm. Kids enjoy our sledding hill, then return for hot cocoa. Grown-ups marvel at the quietness of newly fallen snow. Downhill skiers head for the slopes of Schweitzer, Lookout, or Silver Mountain, then come back to the farm for sweet sleep away from the crowds. Folks cozy up to the  stove, and gather with friends and loved ones during the holiday season. People retreat, schedule business meetings, or come to scrap book, quilt or stamp. We’d love to welcome you to winter on the farm. Bring your ATV or Snowmobile…Bunco Road Recreation Area parking lot is just 5 miles away.

COME IN SPRING… Birds. Blooms. Babies.
Daffodils send up their green shoots. We rejoice! The winter is over; the time of singing of birds has come.  As we say in north Idaho, “If you don’t like the weather, just stick around, it will change.” Spring visitors still find snow on the ski slopes of Schweitzer, Silver, and Lookout.  Here, the grass greens and baby lambs arrive. Spring is a great time for women’s retreats and beat-the-June-rush weddings.
